East by West is a casual dining restaurant shaped by the meeting of Indian and Mediterranean culinary traditions. The concept is driven by a spirit of adventure, an invitation to explore flavor through contrast, spice, and discovery. Familiar tastes shift, unexpected combinations emerge, and each experience feels like a small journey across cultures.
We designed the visual identity to reflect this sense of movement and exploration. Anchored by a compass-inspired symbol, the graphic system translates travel, direction, and curiosity into a clear and contemporary visual language, one that hints at discovery rather than explaining it outright.
The identity system is bold yet informal, designed to match the relaxed energy of the space. Simple graphic elements and clear typography create flexibility across menus, signage, and digital touchpoints, ensuring the brand remains consistent while adapting effortlessly to different moments and contexts.
The result is a distinctive and confident identity that feels open and approachable, supporting the restaurant’s character while allowing the food and the experience to take center stage.
