Boomi Persian Kitchen is a contemporary brasserie featuring a unique space with a contemporary version of traditional Iranian hospitality through Persian cuisines, design and architecture. The muse for this project is the epic Shahnameh – The Book of Kings, by Ferdowsi. Modifying the non-perspective illustrations with symmetric shapes and transforming the graphical visualizations into spatial design combined with rich colors are the used techniques for this identity.

We have created the branding, interior and architectural design of the entire space, lightning and the design of all products and furniture. We want the guests to absorb the space contemporary, but at the same time as inherently Boomi – meaning native in Farsi. As a result, we picked the name Boomi.

We have created the branding, interior and architectural design of the entire space, lightning and the design of all products and furniture. We want the guests to absorb the space contemporary, but at the same time as inherently Boomi – meaning native in Farsi. As a result, we picked the name Boomi.

Boomi Persian Kitchen reimagines native flavors in a vibrant Tehran brasserie, where epic tales from the Shahnameh unfold through optimistic hues and symmetric motifs drawn from ancient illustrations. The brand identity fuses Persian heritage with modern exuberance, employing aqua turquoise salons, emerald niches, and floral walls that bloom like vertical rugs in a traditional yard. Curved patterns and vivid details transform every surface into chapters of a living poem, inviting diners to narrate their own stories amid cypresses and wild roses.

Rooted in Ferdowsi's timeless verses, the visual system adapts non-perspective graphics into spatial harmony, softening steel and wood with marble tabletops for an environment both fun and richly colored. Archival elements from Iranian life—wild roses, geometric blooms—inform a language of restraint and abundance, dividing the 600 sqm space into poetic zones rather than rigid areas. This framework balances industrial precision with organic warmth, evoking the inherent "boomi" essence of familiarity and delight.

Luminaries, furniture, and artwork radiate through the top-floor mall perch, with techniques like modified symmetries elevating native cuisine into unparalleled experiences. Bespoke designs extend from heart-to-heart lounges to romantic terraces, enveloping guests in a narrative of cultural fusion and sensory immersion. Here, every meal lingers as a verse in an epic of taste, tradition, and contemporary joy.
